​First 15 minutes inside the Kruger National Park in South Africa and we had this AMAZING experience!  It's one thing to love rhino and direct all efforts to prevent their extinction - it's entirely another thing when you experience them in the wild for the first time.  They are so quiet, yet enormous and pre-historic and majestic all in the same breath!  This rhino cow had her calf in tow.  Along with elephants, rhinos have one of the longest offspring rearing years - before they're ready to leave.
